Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man and the Wasp” is generating a lot of good buzz, following the success of “Avengers: Infinity War”. The film was a fun romp with a very meaningful set of after-credits scenes. Fans await MCU after-credits scenes as much as the main event, hence the chatter.
The after-credits scene of any Marvel Studios movie is an attraction in itself. It gives people excitement, and more importantly, a reason to watch the next film in their franchise. Providing continuity early on was Marvel Studios’ way of ensuring success both for the next film, and the entire franchise.

This is the first and most important of all after-credits scenes. This is where audiences learn that the Iron Man movie is not a one-shot superhero movie, but part of something bigger that’s coming. It also spawned a trend among movie franchises.
Captain America: The First Avenger
Nick Fury and Steve Rogers meet for the first time. And just like his Tony, Steve learns that he is part of another major mission.
This after-credits scene comes from the Avengers film. So not only is it an after-credits scene but a preview as well. It segues into an actual preview of Avengers, making it even more exciting.
Avengers (Thanos scene)
This is the first time that we see Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This scene not only brings excitement to fans of Marvel comics but also a lot of wonder to casual movie fans.
Ant-Man (Hope Pym’s Wasp scene)
The first Ant-Man movie was a sleeper hit. It is also one of the few MCU films with two after-credits scenes not directed by Joss Whedon. In the first after-credits scene, Hank unveils an unfinished suit and tells Hope to take on the mantle of the Wasp. Not only do audiences get to see a new superhero, but also watch Marvel as it grows its roster of strong female leads.
Avengers: Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp (tie)
The after-credits scenes of these two movies relate to each other, Captain Marvel and Avengers 4. This is the first time four movies are definitively tied together. All these events lead up to the conclusion of the final Avengers phase, which everyone is anticipating.
